[经管系论文] [内容摘要]本文对1978年至2004年中国地区经济发展的分析认为，上世纪90年代以来，我国省际经济发展差距有扩大的趋势，并且形成了以东、中、西部为界的显著“收敛俱乐部”现象。本文以新古典收敛模型为框架，对转型时期各省区的经济发展进行了计量分析，得出了条件收敛的结论。

Abstract: This paper casts an analysis on China` s regional economic growth from 1978 to 2004, which argues that, inter-provincial disparities have shown an expansive trend since 1990s, accompanied by a salient phenomenon of “convergence clubs” within the east、central and west zones, respectively. Further econometric analysis based on the neo-classical convergence framework on inter-provincial economic growth during the transition period reaches the conclusion of conditional convergence.
